Distinguished Research Professor Marco Buongiorno-Nardelli, has been named an External Professor of the Santa Fe Institute.

This is an extremely prestigious institution dedicated to the multidisciplinary study of the fundamental principles of complex adaptive systems, including physical, computational, biological, and social systems.

The Santa Fe Institute is one of the most important research think tanks globally.

Dr. Nardelli's selection is based on his interdisciplinary work on the use of complexity science in the analysis and composition of music.
