Dr. Rout is actively pursuing research in several experimental areas involving condensed matter physics, materials science, nano-science and technology. His current research interests include materials analysis and modification using high energy focused ion beams; Growth and analysis of micro-nanostructures using UHV techniques involving MBE, E-beam, Ion beam.
