Abstract

Nowadays basically all solar cells are made from silicon, with a few exceptions like GaAs for space applications, and CdTe and Perovskites as the "next generation" of solar cells. The first cell was made from Selenium. … what does this have to do with today's talk …. I guess nothing. However, as you might have guessed by now, I don't want to have "TBD" as speaker name/title and I figured these fun bits at least make some of you smile.

The speaker announcement can be found in the hallway.
